Whats new?
Well it has been far to long since I have posted what is going on at the Richardson home! Well life is good...... very crazy and sooooo busy but good! Caleb is still in school and working full time while doing a night shift. I am super tired of the night shift, but I know this will all be worth it! As many of you know, Caleb applied to UVU's nursing program with a 3.9 GPA and didn't get accepted. It was a huge disappointment and more than anything a shock for us. He picked himself off and dusted off and we have made some adjustments! He is still doing nursing school, but we are going to apply at several schools this time! We are hoping to get into like a Provo College or somewhere like that because he can get through his associate portion in one year rather than 2! I really don't know how he keeps up with his crazy schedule. He is seriously never home, he works at night and has school in the mornings. We have had to learn to make the most of our time together. He has been in school for almost 2 years solid without taking any summers or breaks in between! Sometimes I feel like a single mom over here, but when he is home he is truly the best Dad and husband ever! He is such a patient, loving, and hardworking man! I am so grateful for the sacrifices he is making to better our family! Josi is still as funny as ever, she says something daily that has me laughing at her! She is getting so grown up and starts pre-school this fall. She can hardly wait, she has been practicing using scissors and I have little triangles all over my floor. She loves to glue papers together and says she is making diapers for Jake! She is a crack up that one! I cant believe how great she is, daily she tells me she loves me and the best part is that she plays with my hair! I love her so much and I truly thank Heavenly Father for allowing me to raise such a great girl. The other day she told me that when you have bad feelings the Holy Ghost can't be with you. She also thinks that Pluto from Disney is the Holy Ghosts dog! She is such a blessing to me! A few nights ago her and I had a sleep over in my bed and ate popcorn and watched Tinkerbell. I fell asleep like I always do in movies and at 11:30 she woke me up to put her to bed! She is a sweetheart and I am so the luckiest mom ever! Jake is doing so great! Can I just say that he is such a good, happy baby! He defiantly takes after his dad in the fact that he is layed back. He is such a good natured little boy, however..... he is into everything right now! His favorite thing to do is eat dog food! SICK, I seriously cant take my eyes off the kid. He is a little bit of a prankster like his mommy! It is so cute when he is getting into to something he knows he shouldn't be, he giggles and smiles when you are going to stop him! Hopefully I will have a toilet papering pal someday! I love to toilet paper! I just took him in for his 9 month check up and he is getting so big! He is 28.8 inches, that puts him in the 68% for height! I am so glad, lets hope he gets those Richardson genes and not the shorty Bingham genes! His head is 17.6 31%, and he is 17.7 pounds 10%! He might be a skinny boy, but that's OK! Maybe a soccer player like his daddy! I have been blessed with such good kids and I thank Heavenly Father daily for them. I think I might be the most paranoid mom ever, I seriously worry so much about them. I cant express how much I love them! I am still working and serving in the young woman's as the Laurel advisor. I love my calling and I love the girls in this ward. I sometimes feel like a chicken with my head cut off because I pick up some slack around here with Caleb's crazy schedule. My favorite thing this year has been yard work. I tryed cleaning out our garage, but realized I royally lost Caleb's tools! I love lines in the grass and have enjoyed trying to make a garden grow! I even ran the tiller in the garden! I am so thankful for my job, I love being able to visit with all my friends and talk out all my insanity. I wish I was able to balance my schedule better and make more time for my family and friends. I love doing stuff with you all, but it gets so crazy with this wild life! I'm so sorry if you feel overlooked, I am going to try to do better! I hope you are all doing well! Enjoy the summer, it goes to quickly!

Sounds like you've been SO busy! Love the new pictures.
"The greatest symptom of a life well-lived is so much dedication to family, so much so that friends and extended family alike, feel you are a disappearing act." Betsey, my dear, you are doing an incredible job. Don't feel bad that your social life isn't what it 'should' be by the world's standards. Your kids need you more than they do and it sounds like you have donned the cape of wonderwoman and have the desire to be everything to everyone. You are your own superhero but cut yourself some slack every now and then. Even wonderwoman needs a breather. Love your guts, Betsey!
I hear you, Betsey! Motherhood can be rough. Especially when you're husband isn't around much. I'd love to come visit you sometime. I want to see your two cute kids. Sounds like they're adorable. You're one of the most fun person to be around, so I'm sure your kids are too! I'm living with my parents right now till our house sells and we buy a new one, so give me a call when you get a chance.
