Disneyland 2011

So we just took a trip for 10 days to Disneyland at the beginning of this month. We had so much fun together. It has been forever since we have had time to spend as a family, and we got 10 whole days of it! We got to go with my sister Katie, her husband Jeff, and there 2 cute kids, Chloe and Kyle. My Mom also came for 5 of the days, but my Dad isn't a huge fan of Disneyland and stayed home. We had so much fun, we got to spend 3 days in Disneyland/ California Adventure. For Christmas we got a week at my parents timeshare from them. It was so nice to have that taken care of! We got to go to the beach, fun breakfast's and dinners, swim, and just spend some much needed family time! Josi had so much fun, and was so star struck by all the characters, but mostly by the princesses. Ariel was the funniest, Josi was speechless! So the "Josi" girl always manages to make us laugh, here are some of her funny comments while in California. We asked her what her favorite ride was and she said the bus! Yes the city bus is the best ride ever! She kept telling us that the garmin was the teacher "Daddy, the teacher said turn left!" She is so silly! Jake was a dream as always! He was just as content as ever to be carried around by his dad in the Bjorn. He is such a great little baby, he was charming all the people standing in line with us. He would just start smiling at people and had them melting in his hand! Between Josi the chatter and Jake the charmer we made all sorts of new friends! We had so much fun and I hope we get to go again soon!

One of the highlights of the trip for us was eating at Ariel's Grotto.
Josi is probably the pickiest eater ever! She worked on a chart trying new foods, and eating good to earn this Breakfast. She was sooooo star struck, it was funny to watch her! I loved the character breakfast's!

I forgot to tell something so cute! While in Disneyland some of the workers came up tp us ans asked if they could take Josi's picture to put it up on small world. Disneyland has started a new thing where they take pics of people throughout the day and at night they play music and pictures from the day up! Josi was a star and was shown 2 times! What a fun trip we had!

Jake 5 months old!

So our little Jake will be 5 months old in just a few days! He is such a great little baby!I dont know why we have been so lucky to have such great kids! Right now he is almost 16 pounds and still growing! He sleeps through the night and is such a happy going kid! He rolls really well from tummy to back and is trying hard to master rolling from back to tummy. He seems like he will be sitting up soon. He is sooooo strong and has great leg control! It is sooooo cute because he watches Josi all day. If he can hear her in the room he will try as hard as he can to see her! He can get laughing harder at her than anybody! The other day we were at walmart and Caleb was holding Josi up to the shopping cart to see Jake and they were just laughing and laughing at each other. It is those moments that make being a mom so rewarding! Josi is such a fantastic big sister who ios always so willing to help her little brother. Just today I layed Jake on the floor and was about to change his diaper and without even asking Josi brought me a diaper and wipes for him. She is always putting his binki in and is always looking out for him. It is so fun to be a mom and I am so grateful to get the chance!

It has been way tooooo long!!!

So it has been way to long since I last posted! Halloween passed, Shelby's wedding, Thanksgiving and Christmas! Halloween was wonderful, Josi was Cinderella! She loved dressing up like one of her favorite princesses. Jake was a skunk and looked so cute and adorable. Josi was so funny, she would have trick or treated all night if i let her. She was shivering and so cold by the end, I finally had to tell her it was time to go home. We spent thanksgiving this year with Caleb's family.. It was fun to spend time with all of his aunts, uncles and cousins. Shelby got married to Brian and they had such a beautiful wedding. Josi was so excited to wear her "wedding dress". She was so funny at the reception, she kept hiding under Shelby's dress. They got some pretty funny pictures of her doing it! Christmas was so fun, we got to have Natalie and Andy (Caleb's little sister and her husband) stay with us for a few days! She announced that she was pregnant and having a little boy! We are so excited for them, she is due in May. Caleb had to work Christmas Eve so the kids and I went to my parents house for dinner and our annual program. Santa made it to our house and Christmas went off with a bang! Josi was so excited that Santa made it to our house, she says she heard him on the roof! :) Caleb is on a little break from school between semesters, he got an A- in his anatomy class and an A in psychology. He was so excited and shocked, every semester he tells me "I don't think I'm gonna pass", and he always ends up with straight A's. Next semester is his last semester of pre-reqs for the nursing program. He is signed up for physiology, and history. He can apply at the end of this next semester and hopefully we start next fall. We planned a family trip to Disney Land in May and we got a week stay at the Anaheim time share from my parents for Christmas! They are so thoughtful, and we cant wait to see Josi in Disneyland! She is sooooo obsessed with anything princess! Jake is getting so big! He loves to drink those bottles and gets all giddy when he See's us about to feed him. He is in the 75% for his weight and that is so funny to me since Josi is dangling to stay on the dang chart! He is such a great baby, he is doing 8 hour nights right now. He wakes up to eat and goes right back down for another 4 hours. Thank heavens that I have been blessed with 2 great kids! Jake is totally smiling and cooing and starting to grab things. He already sounds like a boy, I know that sounds funny, but his cooing is in this little man voice! He had a couple weeks there where I was nervous he was gonna be colicky, but he snapped out of it when we started adding a little formula into his bottles.I love hearing him try to talk to us, we are blessing him this Sunday. Josi is so hilarious, she seriously says and does the funniest things. She loves to take her wands and turn everyone and everything into something else, or fall into a deep sleep only to be awakened by a true loves kiss! She LOVES Jake, she is always telling us how handsome he is and that he is her little brother. She has been busy playing with her new princess barbies and play dough! We took her to see tangled and she didn't budge of the edge of her seat the entire movie. She is such a blessing to our life! I am staying crazy busy with work and my kiddos and my young woman's calling. I am getting pretty burned out of Caleb's night shift, but I have to keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. I think I just miss our nights as a family, and falling asleep next to someone. I do have to say that I am impressed that I have not been a total wimp about him being gone at nights, because I am a wimp! I always look forward to time off to spend together and try to plan family things to do together. Work keeps me on my toes, it never seems like I can do everyone's hair who wants it done, but I love that I have such a great job! Most of you know how busy our kiddos keep us! I am glad that all my fall shows are coming back on so that I can get a little me time when my kiddos go to bed! I hope you are all doing wonderful, hopefully it wont be so long till I post again!
