A week full of FIRSTS!!!

So this week has been a week full of first times for me!!! I think it is so funny how kids are so full of energy and sooooooooooooo curious! So Josi ate dog food this last week! That was so gross and funny all at the same time! The funniest part about it is that she is such a picky little eater but the dog food sure hit the spot for her! Then she pooped in the tub last night! I have not yet experienced that yet in her whole 9 months of life! I guess I am lucky! Then I waxed a mans face! My neighbor wanted his face waxed, I guess I should rephrase that we waxed all under his Chin, parts of his face and the back of his neck all while his wife laughed! He was a good sport, especially being that parts of his face bled a little! What a good sport! Don't worry I will leave you anonymous! What a funny week! Christmas was great, Santa made it to our house! Josi got a highchair, some new toys, but her favorite was a baby given to her by her grandma Richardson! She gives it kisses and sucks on her foot! I hope you all had a great Christmas!

Christmas Shopping!

So I am almost done with my shopping but I cant get myself to venture out in the cold to finish! I am such a baby about the cold! I turn into a hermit in the winter and I just can't go out there! I need some good ideas for a stocking fillers for Caleb and Josi that I can get at Walmart! We did all food storage for Christmas but decided that we would do stockings for each other! Any great ideas that Josi might like she is crawling and still has no teeth at 8 months! I dont know what to get her in hers or Calebs! 1 week left, I better get going! I am sending out cards, they are just a little behind! betsey

Such a sad story

So in my last ward I had the sweetest visiting teacher who was awesome. She had shared with me her struggle to get pregnant. She had one child that she was able to conceive on her own and had been trying for 6 years after to get pregnant. After I had Josi she brought me dinner and she just held her, she wanted a baby so much. Shortly after that she let me know that she had been chosen to be the adoptive parent! She was out of her mind excited and was counting down the days. She finally got him and named him Tallon. I am not sure if you have seen her on the news and on good morning America today, but her son was just taken away from her after raising him from birth for 6 months. He is part Indian and this last Sunday night she was forced to give him back to his tribe. The terrible part is that he will be going into foster care within the Indian Reservation. I can not even tell you how sad I am for this poor family. Here he is in a wonderful home where he is so loved and well taken care of only to be taken out of his schedules and surroundings that he is comfortable and happy, only too be taken and put into foster care. The baby was born addicted to heroin and the parents had to ween him off the drugs. They spent every waking minute with at the hospital, and left only to sleep. I am not sure how this is even legal, but please pray for them. I feel awful. Imagine how you would feel if you couldn't.t stop worrying about your sweet baby, if he is being fed, given naps, and just being hugged and kissed. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers they need it! Make sure to hug and kiss your kids, remember how lucky you are to have them!

Merry Christmas!!!

Well here is my christmas tree that Josi keeps crawling over to! She is really booking it all over the house these days! Yesterday she was crawling everywhere while I cooked dinner and she is doing the funniest thing, she will dance and bob her head at us! She is going to have one funny personality! Of course today she is sleeping in, it is now 8:30 and I woke up at 6am to so my moms hair and she chooses a day when I get up early to sleep in! Thats ok! She has not moved an inch from where I put her last night for bed! She is a tired girl! Who knows she might be finally growing now that she is 8 months old and 13 whole pounds! I hope everyone is excited for Christmas, I have had fun getting a few things for the baby! Well she just woke up, gotta go! betsey

Caleb's Surprise Birthday Party!!!

So this last weekend I threw Caleb a Surprise Party! He was so funny when he walked in! It was so hard not too tell him, but I did it and he was surprised. We had a good time, and played some really funny games! Im glad that it worked out, and thanks everyone for coming!

This last Sunday we went and had our pictures taken! Janae always does such a good job. Josi was being a little difficult, but she did pretty good considering how many times we changed her clothes! We also got her 6 month pictures taken and she got some really cute ones! We took our dogs along and they were going crazy in the peoples backyard! It was awsome they had a big pond, and waterfall, and a minny putting green! They also had a trampoline!!! I am going too get one some day, I love jumping on the tramp so much! It was fun, I thought it was interesting that President Monson said in this last comfrence too have family pictures taken 2 times a year! Caleb hates getting pictures so that is my excuse when I say that we have pictures again!

I was looking back at some old pictures and thought it would be fun to post some thing just about me a Caleb! It was so crazy how things ended up with us! We met in High school and I had such a huge crush on Caleb. I was too shy too say a word too him, and as mad as he gets when I tell people this we met cheer leading! I was a sophomore cheerleader and he was a Varsity Yell Leader! In his defense 1/2 the football team were all yell Leaders and they caused so much grief that us girls kicked them off the squad after a few months. So he was only on for a little bit! He played Soccer in High school and loved that! We started dating when some our friends started dating! We really hit it off one weekend at my family's cabin. I had invited some friends up to the Cabin for the weekend and Caleb invited himself too come along with some of our friends! I was so excited and we ended up really hitting things off. We were connected at the hip from that point on. We dated all through high school and when it came mission time I thought my heart was going to break in half! We were trying too decide if we should get married or send him on a mission and we made the right choice for us and sent him out! It was so hard to be away from him for the 2 years. I dated and met some really neat people, but my heart was always with Caleb. I Kept busy going to Snow College and Hair School. He loved his mission he went to Nashville Tennessee! He served all around that area and even into Kentucky! He had some wonderful experiences and we wrote the whole 2 years! I was so nervous too see him at the airport. I didn't know if things would be the same or if it would be different, but it was all the same. I cut his hair that night. He had started growing it out so that I could practice my mad hair cutting skills out on him! We were once again inseparable! It took Caleb 3 days too build up the nerve to kiss me but he got it on a picture! I was a little taken off guard! We got engaged 3 weeks after he got home and married 7 weeks after that! I know Crazy!!! We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 25th and we had our reception at Heritage Gardens! It was so much fun!!!! Life has treated us great! We moved into my parents basement apartment and lived there for awhile. Then we moved to South Jordan and lived in a house that was suppose to be an Investment home, but we ended moving to our New home In Eagle Mountain! We are so excited to have our sweet little baby! She is a doll! I cant wait too see what lies in store for us! I love Caleb so much and I am so thankful that he is such a wonderful man!

I came into my mommy and daddys arms on april 11th at 7:25pm! They were so excited to hold me! I weighed 8 pounds exactly, and the doctor said I was 18 inches long but my pediatrician thinks they measured me wrong. He thinks I was 19 inches long! I had a little hair, but it all fell out. I have bright blue eyes, and people say I look like my mommy most! I took 10 hours to get here! I like too tease mommy so I took a long time! I loved when my mommy and daddy finally got too hold me, I liked when mommy sang me songs in the night, and when daddy showed me off to everyone, adn changed my outfit 300 times! I didn't like my bath though, I cryed and cryed, but I love them now! I knew mommy was scared too take me home so I tryed really hard too be good! I know my mommy and daddy love me, and I love them too!

Here are a few of the pictures that Janae took of Josi! She looked so cute in her dress, it gathered together really cute! It looked like a princess dress! Caleb did such a great job on the Blessing! We had a great turn out, THANKS EVERYONE! We did a breakfast after and we had a feast! It took 40 eggs for the mountain man breakfast! The fruit was my favorite! Thanks mom!

So we just recently got too go too Hawaii! It was so much fun, we went to the Island of Kuaii! It was so beautifull. We stayed at Calebs parents time share, we went with Dana, Rollie, us, Nate Kathy, Jrs family, shelby, and Grandma McCann! We had a lot of fun, we went too a rope swing where we all left a little battered and bruised. I got a huge bruise on my leg, and about 100 mosquito bites. Dana hit her head, and nate threw up! It sounds bad, but it was fun it was a 25 foot cliff, that you swung from a tree into this big pool of water! We had too hike threw a sugar cane field too find it. It was fun, everyone was jumping from the cliffs. It had a really pretty water fall!

We also learned that you are not suppose too stand on the coral reef at the beach! This CRAZY lady came over and picked a fight with us! She was swearing her head off, even at the little kids, so Caleb had too try and calm her down and she started kicking, and punching, and scratching him. We were all so annoyed and couldn't believe it! I wanted too kick her butt for messing with my man! I should have I guess! Snorkling was a blast we saw so many pretty fish, and the beaches are amazing there! We saw lots of pretty waterfalls, and all got burned! Next time I want too go see the polynesiun cultural center at Awahu! I would love too go back and see that again. I went as a sophmore in highschool, but I would love too go back with caleb sometime! we had a ton of fun and the baby did awsome, she was so confused about her schedule, but she figured it out! She loved the ocean. She layed out with me a lot! We loved it so much!

Josilyn Reece Richardson

Here is our sweet little angel Josilyn Reece Richardson! this is her at 6 days old! Her aunt Janae takes the best pictures of her! She has so many cute ones! We are so lucky too have such a sweetheart! After a pregnancy that really almost killed me, she is so worth it! While I was so sick and wearing those stupid IVs I kept thinking (how could I ever do this again?) It is so worth it and I will for sure do it again!
Josilyn is now almost 6 months old, she is so small we call her peanutt! She weighed 8 pounds when she was born, and she weighs only 13 now! She is just tiny! She is saying both mama and dada. She has no clue what she is saying, but she says it! It is great she is sleeping through the night 10-12 hours! She started that at about 10-12 weeks. It is so nice! She is rolling from tummy too back and so close on her back too tummy! I think she is going too be a chatter box! We love her so much and get so excited over the silliest things! I am so glad that she has such a sweet personality, and she laughs all the time! Caleb is completely crazy about her, we both love her so much. I love too see him get so excited too see her after a long day at work!

The Richardsons!!!

Hello Everyone!
I guess I am going to try out this whole "Blogging" thing! I am excited to share our pics and fun things that we have been doing! Caleb Is still at Fidelity Investments! He loves his job, but the market is insane right now and he has had too work a lot of overtime. He is in the fixed Income Department! He is at the Gateway Office, and drives in every day from Eagle Mountain. He is such a great guy! He works with his 2 best friends, Trent and Jeff. Hey Tanya and Anna, do you ever wonder if they really are working or just going to movies all day!!! Caleb Just got him a Honda Shadow Motercycle, it scares the daylights out of me, but he loves it! I am glad that he has a hobby that he can enjoy so much. After a long day working he loves too come home and take a little ride. I call him the heart break kid! He also plays on a soccer team (if he ever goes) He loves that too!

I am still doing hair from our house! Caleb built me a salon with the help of dad, jeff, charly, and trent! Thanks guys! I just do hair 2 days a week on wednesdays and saturdays. I love it and I am building more clients in our new nieghborhood! I am also selling scentsy candles, it is mostly just too pay for my bad habit, but I love the house too smell good! I have been loving too make headbands for josi! She has some really cute ones! I love our new house and I love our nieghborhood, we are having lots of fun here!

That sums us up for right now! We both love being parents, Josi is the sweetest thing ever, and I love being her mom!
